relation holder clients, no other client will understand the fact related to
deadline delivery. It is always a habit that client will give you a deadline
which is quite unacceptable.
For Ex : Our client said ”I want to sell
online books, so please make me a site
quickly within 10 days, I think 10 days will be sufficient to you, right?”
Now it’s the
situation every web 2.0 designer have idea regarding it.
But
considering client actually not having any idea regarding Creative website design
types: “it is obvious”. So it is your turn to
make them understand that it is not the duration what you think it will take
and give them the realistic deadline considering your team.
2 We don’t have any
idea?
It’s a usual
scenario, clients don’t used to have any idea of what kind of website whether
its E-Commerce, promotional or any other type they want. They are unable to say
how many pages or what type of pages website should include.
For Ex: they want to sell a product, and will
order you to build the website.
But for
building a website you need to know what your client actually wants.
Always try to
get system specific requirement (SRS) from client before you start a project.SRS can
be said as a documentation of what you want to build a website.SRS will estimate the project budget .Now you can
move further.
3 Do us a favor of writing the content
too
Every
Designer accepts the challenge of getting the content and particular images for
the website. It's a fact to say “except content website is ready”. So in a
funny way every Designer should have mastery in ”The Art Of Extraction”
Its many
times seen, that client in the name of content will supply you only the idea. Content
sent by them is usually being edited, researched and after that its considered
to be content for website.
4 We live in Dream World, we want a
spectacular project, but don’t know what we actually want?
There are
many clients who pressurize you for building a great looking website. But they
are not going to tell you the pattern or design or the imagination by supplying
it .Finally when you supply the outcome, they will not except it, and will say
a little more changes required. Actually its always confusing for clients to
decide what will be the cost of the project keeping the complexity in view. In
actual condition they will be trying to get Flash, JQuery, AJAX and Dynamic links ,but also thinks it’s
a easy task to do. They may are unable to make use of their website features to achieve business
goals.
5 We don’t have suitable idea for
website adjustments
Its often
seen and realized in some moment of time that you may not be knowing of to
resize, adjust in color, border and crop a photo. It sometimes like you may be
a online every time, but you don’t having a penny knowledge of how to zip a
file, or how to convert a doc file into pdf file.
6 Are we really
accepting your proposal?
Proposal may
be accepted by many clients .But the question is ,Did they giving project to
you? We have seen many times that when we are give a contract we always used to
get excited. Its the time to take some pills. Always pause your excitement
until the client signs the contract and give the advance credit. Be away from
speculation, and face the reality.
After reading the mind of
client, are you thinking of if any one makes a single sale. So reading all
these clients inner factors which are quite invisible for you, its your job to
make a perfect approach towards your client. It seems hard but it isn’t.
